The Rundown: Moon Knight decides to teach the Tutor a lesson.
The Tutor’s hired assassins have killed Hunter’s Moon and Marc decides that vengeance is something he will have to do alone. Vengeance that will cause Moon Knight to capture the assassins and introduce them to the new Midnight Mission. An introduction that will take them into a world they could not imagine with terrors they have never faced before.
In the aftermath, Marc reveals something to both of them before deciding to pay a visit to the Tutor’s late night party. A visit that will bring Moon Knight and Tigra into a room filled with vampires.
The Story: MacKay delivers an intense and action packed story that showcases just how dark and dangerous Moon Knight is as a character. I love the intensity of the story and how the character elevates that intensity in both his actions and mannerisms. It’s a darkly fun story that makes me excited for what happens next.
The Art: Cappuccio delivers some beautifully detailed, stylish and intense art throughout the issue. The action is brilliantly done and there are some truly disturbing visuals in the mission that made me excited.
