The Rundown: Moon Knight takes a dangerous trip while Hunter’s Moon tracks down some dangerous prey.
Moon Knight, Reese and Soldier have traveled to Chinatown in order to find the person in power who the Tutor seems to be afraid of. The three of them are brought to the powerful and ancient Lady Yulan. After a tense standoff, he learns the truth about the Tutor, the Structure and what he wants from the vampire world. He also learns why there is a fragile peace between the factions. Information he might find useful.
At the same time, Hunter’s Moon goes on a hunt for the assassins working for the Tutor. A plan that will bring him into a trap laid out for him. Fighting for his life, Hunter’s Moon is overcome by sheer numbers as one of the killers decides to send him back to Moon Knight with a lesson. \
The Story: MacKay continues to craft an entertaining and thrilling story for Moon Knight that always has some great character moments as well as surprises. I continue to enjoy the build up of this story and how engaging that characters are within it. The story is smartly written and brilliantly paced with great rising tension between both parts of the plot.
The Art: Cappuccino delivers some beautiful art in the issue. The action is thrilling and wonderfully detailed and I love the level of tension that is exhibited visually from just a conversation.
