The Rundown: Moon Knight races to help his friends at the Mission as Zodiac prepares for his final lesson to Marc.
Zodiac and his forces are in front of the Midnight Mission facing off against Mr. Knight. Unfortunately, Reese and Soldier’s gambit don’t fool him for long as he opens fire on the pair. At the same time, Marc and Tigra are racing through an alternate space being chased by the ghosts of previous Moon Knights in an attempt to get to the Mission in time.
As Zodiac prepares to make his final move, Marc arrives to take him down. In the ensuing battle, Marc is pushed to his limits when one of his friends goes down and another prepares to give in to the darkness inside her. As Marc decides to finally end Zodiac once and for all, a surprising return shocks Reese.
The Story: MacKay delivers an exciting and entertaining story in this issue. The action was great and the tension throughout the story was engaging. I loved seeing Reese struggle with her vampire side as Marc struggles with his desire to kill Zodiac. I enjoyed the moments with Hunter’s Moon and the end of the issue has me excited for what comes next.
The Art: Cappuccio delivers some exciting visuals throughout the issue. The realm Marc and Tigra escape through is visually stunning and the art wonderfully captures the tension and immediacy of the plot.
