The Rundown: Miles finally faces Rabble, but it might not be enough to protect his family.
Miles is confronted by Rabble who knows everything about him and the people that he loves. Unfortunately, he knows nothing about her including the limits of her powers. A lesson he learns the hard way when she counters everything he does before escaping. After returning to her lair, Rabble reveals something to Tiana including that she is not Rabble’s only hostage.
Miles finds himself rescued by Misty Knight who tries to teach him that he needs a plan instead of constantly rushing into danger. A plan that will send Misty to find Miles’ friends while Spider-Man goes looking for his family.
The Story: Ziglar does a great job of ramping up the tension in this issue and using the danger of it to teach Miles something he needs to learn. I like having Misty Knight in the mix as a mentor for Miles and her perspective on his actions is spot on. Rabble’s motivations continue to be goofy, but the execution of her menace is well done. I look forward to seeing what the resolution of their conflict becomes.
The Art: Vicentini delivers some great action throughout the issue. I love the visual style and how fluid and filled with motion and life the art becomes.
