The Rundown: Miles takes a multiversal trip to find a loved one.
Miles and Shift have defeated the Assessor and discovered that Aaron is on another Earth. After Shift access the machine, the pair enter and find themselves on a journey through the multiverse to find the missing Prowler. A journey that will put them in the path of a new ally with a familiar face who is need of help.
In the aftermath, Miles and Shift find another portal and begin a journey that will take them to some familiar places where Miles runs into not only an old friend, but also a world filled with danger. As their journey continues, their trip gets interrupted by the return of a dangerous foe.
The Story: Ahmed creates a fun, entertaining and interesting story in this issue. There are some great moments between Miles and Shift and their dynamic continues to be compelling. Miles’ journey takes some unexpected and entertaining turns as well and there is a great, lighter tone to this issue that works really well. I really enjoyed the story and the cliffhanger at the end was perfect.
The Art: Allen delivers some great art throughout the story. There are some great visual thrills and the different worlds all look unique and engaging.
