The Rundown: Miles’ clone steps over the line and Miles rushes to stop him before his family is shattered.
Miles returns home to find that his father has been seriously injured and something even worse, his sister is missing. When Rio arrives to treat her husband, Miles receives a text from Selim telling the hero where they can be found.
After racing through the city, Miles arrives just in time for Selim to threaten Billie. With everything to lose, Miles challenges the clone and the two fight with Miles knowing the stakes. When two more clones appear, Miles will have to determine if the seeds he planted with them will pay off with his little sister’s life literally hanging in the balance.
The Story: Ahmed brings this arc to a spectacular, action packed conclusion. The action and adventure were quick and the story didn’t get bogged in anything that took away from the intensity of the plot or the stakes laid out in the story. It was interesting to see that the things laid out by Miles came to fruition when he needed them the most and the story itself has some great, human moments that made me appreciate how different and dynamic a character Miles can be.
The Art: Carnero delivers some beautiful art throughout the issue. There is some great action to be had on every page and the fight on the bridge was thrilling from start to finish.
