The Rundown: Olivia and her friends find themselves on a new mission against a new and dangerous foe.
A new group of cadets have come to train with the heroes of the battle against the Sharg and the heroes make their presence known with a big show. Olivia gets some unexpected praise from her father as the crew descends, but it is short lived as their next mission causes them to disobey orders. Orders that get Olivia removed as team leader.
When their next orders come through, the mechs find themselves in space where they not only discover a new threat, but an ally who has some alien help of his own.
The Story: The cadets are back with a new adventure and new drama. Pak does a brilliant job of bringing readers back into the world of these characters as well as crafting a story new readers will love as well. I love the action in the story as well as the interpersonal conflict between Olivia and her father. I’m excited to see where this story and series go next.
The Art: Miyazawa delivers some fantastic art throughout the issue. The visuals are filled with great details and awesome action.
