The Rundown: Emma learns more about her wayward parents and who she is expected to target.
Emma learns something new about the parents who abandoned her and the romanticized story allows her bring her friend Lawrence up to speed on the truth about her life. When Gleason arrives to get Emma prepared to run, she discovers that anther ghost from their past has emerged.
After tracking down someone with a connection to her parents, they discover who Preston has targeted Emma to go after. Someone who is as rich and powerful and the man who wants to take her down. Someone who knows Emma is coming for her.
The Story: Bendis continues to create an interesting and compelling story in this issue. The story has some great character development and adds some interesting complications and backstory that makes me more interested in the bigger plot and its characters. The story has some engaging interactions and the growing tension makes me want to see what happens next.
The Art: Maleev delivers some fantastic art throughout the issue. The visuals are beautifully detailed and perfectly captures the dark tone of the story.
