The Rundown: Namor seeks revenge as the Maestro fights to retain control.
Namor has decided to seek revenge on the Maestro for the deaths of his family by releasing Giganto into the city. A creature that is an almost unstoppable force of destruction. With Namor losing his grip on sanity, he refuses to stop the creatures advance and Maestro finds this foe tougher than any he’s faced before. Things get more intense when Blonsky takes something from Doom and decides to use it to help in the fight. A move that will upset the leader of Latveria.
As Doom attempts to repair his transmit beam, Namor’s death wish will bring both Maestro and Abomination coming at him. When Maestro discovers a weakness in the creature, Namor is removed from the fight and Blonsky decides to team up with Maestro to end the conflict once and for all.
The Story: David brings massive action and excitement to this issue as Maestro finds himself facing something he’s not prepared for. I love the dark humor in this story and how Blonsky is given a bigger role in events. The story takes some great twists throughout and comes together with an exciting cliffhanger that makes me eager to see how David brings this story to an end.
The Art: Peralta delivers some beautifully detailed panels and pages throughout the issue. The art is lively, thrilling, brutal and exciting.
