Netflix renewed the hit series Luke Cage in December of 2016 and started filming in June of this year.
Today, production officially wrapped on the second season of the show and the cast decided to get together and celebrate. Actress Gabrielle Dennis, who will take on the role of villain Tilda Johnson aka Nightshade, took to her Instagram to announce to her followers that production has wrapped.
Dennis also posted pictures of herself with series lead Mike Colter, Simone Missick, Alfre Woodard and Theo Rossi. Could this mean that we get to witness the return of Black Mariah and Shades? Do they have a connection to Nightshade’s plans in Harlem?
The 13 episode second season of Luke Cage is set to premiere in 2018 on Netflix.
