The Rundown: Jack goes looking for answers when his hometown starts finding a new religion.
Jack has returned to town to get some answers. Answers that will bring him and Rudy to the sheriff’s office and a dangerous encounter caused by Jack’s fugitive status. When another ghost from Jack’s past emerges in the town, it goes after him but it can’t seem to connect and immediately goes after the bound Inga locked in the basement.
At the same time, the people of Farmington continue to meet at the new place of worship. A place with a new service being led by someone else from Jack’s past.
The Story: Fleecs and Seeley continue to craft a thrilling and engaging adventure in this issue. The writers create some fantastic stories from different elements of who Jack is. The story in the present is wonderfully gritty and exciting while the story in his past is compelling. I love how both sides of the story complement each other. I continue to love the world being created in this series and I look forward to seeing what happens next.
The Art: Fleecs and Seeley deliver fantastic art throughout the issue. I continue to love the contrasting art style and how they complement each other.
