The Rundown: Henry continues his investigation into the devil and discovers more strange history.

Henry continues his investigation into the devil and wants to learn more about the mystery behind it. As he learns more, the earlier story is fleshed out with Leeds confronting the creature born of his wife and watching it escape as madness takes its mother.
As Henry tries to track down more information, he learns of another possible connection to the devil. One that brings the legend into the realm of American history. His investigation leads to more tension with his brother as he seems to get further away from learning the truth.
The Story: Tynion IV and Foxe deliver a solid follow up that does a great job of transitioning between the mythology of the creature and Henry’s investigation into it. I enjoy the slow burn of this series so far and how the story allows for character development while creating great moments of tension. I look forward to seeing what comes next.
The Art: Kowalski delivers great art throughout the issue. I love the world being created visually and the design of the creature.
