Deron GenerallyThe 25th anniversary of one of the most popular sitcoms in television history is coming and to celebrate, Lego is introducing a brand new set for fans of the iconic series to own.
The Lego Ideas line will recreate the Central Perk coffee shop hangout that the Friends frequent in every episode of the series. The set will include the central six characters of the series Monica, Rachel, Ross, Chandler, Joey and Pheobe.
Central Perk manager Gunther also receives a minifigure for the set as well which will sport 1,070 pieces and measure 4 inches (11 cm) high, 11 inches (29 cm) wide and 8 inches (22 cm) deep.
Lego Ideas is a community and forum that allows fans to submit and vote on future Lego sets. Many sets are fan created and any idea that gets over 10,000 votes has the chance to be selected, made and sold to the public. The Friends Central Perk Lego set will be available for $59.99 this September.
