The Rundown: Sung takes a huge chance after discovering more secrets.
Sung spends the night following another messenger from the office of the champion. After seeing several exchanges that challenge his long held beliefs about the world, he is resolved to find a way to help his mother and his friend Eris.
After finding himself in the middle of a dark exchange that results in a child being separated from his father, Sung decides to try to help his friend and his actions bring him deeper into the dark world and the consequences of fighting the system.
The Story: Pak continues to craft an interesting world in this issue. The story is beautifully complicated and emotionally engaging. I continue to be invested in this world and the mystery within it. I love the way the reader is brought along Sung’s journey as he discovers the hypocrisy of this world. I look forward to seeing what happens next.
The Art: Galindo delivers some great art throughout the issue. The visual style is great and I look forward to seeing more of the world as the story develops.
