The Rundown: Sung continues to struggle with his choices as he discovers something new about his world.
A gathering of those affected by their supposed sins features a speech about acceptance from one of the people in attendance. Unfortunately, the city authorities arrive to break up the event and Sung sees what happens to those who run afoul of the people he now works for as he finally catches up with Eris.
After revealing how close his childhood friend came to being rounded up, Sung returns home to find a party waiting for him helmed by his sick mother and the man who replaced his father in attendance. After feeling guilty for warning Eris, Sung breaks into the office and discovers a dark secret that challenges everything he knows about his world.
The Story: Pak continues to craft an entertaining, engaging and complicated story in this follow up issue. There are some wonderfully interesting character threads being created throughout the story and I love seeing the revelations made in the plot affect Sung and his beliefs. It’s an intriguing world being created in this series and I like seeing not only how it is being explored, but how it is changing and evolving the more the characters understand. I look forward to seeing how complicated this story will get.
The Art: Galindo delivers some fantastic art in the issue. I really enjoy the visual style of this series and how it conveys the emotions of the characters.
