The Rundown: Lady Mechanika travels to find the monster beneath the lake while her partner faces some harsh truth.
Lady Mechanika continues her mission in Russia and learns more about the young boy who seems to have a connection to the dark forces that could be at the heart of the creature at the bottom of the lake. At the same time, Lewis finds himself being confronted by his own actions in the aftermath of his confrontation with Lady Mechanika.
As she and the others make their way to a small island in the middle of the lake, they discover a boat and the remains of its Captain. A boat they can use to investigate the creature at the bottom of the lake. A creature who will not go quietly as it goes after Lady Mechanika personally.
The Story: Benitez and Chen continue to craft a brilliantly intense, compelling and engaging story in this issue. I continue to be enamored with the characters and their complicated dynamics as well as marvel at the intense action and thrills of the story. A wonderfully engaging story filled with great characters and a fun, thrilling plot that drew me in with every moment. I cannot wait to see what happens next.
The Art: Oum delivers some beautifully detailed and visually stunning art throughout the issue. From the character designs to the environments, every page had something for the eyes to ponder and excite.
