A living snowman finds himself melting in the sun, trying to remember who he was. Fortunately, Klaus is there to not only help him, but remind him that he helped save the universe.
As Klaus helps put the snowman back together, he tells him his tale of fighting the comet-men from space.
A race of sentient plant creatures have invaded and Klaus and his friends find themselves fighting off an invasion on multiple fronts. When they separate to take on an invasion force that caused the destruction of the Norse Gods, Klaus comes upon a snowman who can’t remember who he is or where he came from.
Klaus, in his generous spirit, offers to help the snowman named Sam and the pair travel to Titan to help the inhabitants fight off the invading army. It’s a harrowing and epic battle that culminates in Sam making a discovery that helps Santa find an interesting way to end the conflict.
This was an incredibly fun and sweet story that is well told and well paced from start to finish. Morrison does a great job of weaving together this story and making its characters both compelling and interesting. I really enjoyed the character of Klaus and how nuanced he is in relation to everything around him.
Dan Mora’s art is great. I love all of the splash pages because they are brilliantly drawn and detailed. An incredibly fun book filled with great art.
