The Rundown: Rose and Elliot escape from evil knowing they will have to face it eventually.
After barely escaping the corruption of the Wilderlands, Rose and Elliot find themselves in a temporary safe space with the survivors. As Wallace finds something that could possibly help them all while Rose studies Eleanor’s spell book, she and Elliot get closer.
Years later, Rose returns to the corrupted Wilderlands to face Eleanor one last time. As the two powerful witches square off in what could be their final battle and the survivors return to their land to fight for their people, Rose will do something unexpected. Something that could change both worlds forever.
The Story: Parker and Sheridan brings this story to a fantastic conclusion. The story is filled with great action, thrills and a well timed and effective time jump that I would love to see fleshed out someday. What really surprised me was the way the story ended and how it took a direction I wasn’t expecting as the character of Rose truly grew emotionally. A wonderfully complex and compelling finale.
The Art: Quinn delivers visually thrilling art throughout the issue. The imagery was beautifully detailed and filled with great moments of action.
