Deron GenerallyAnyone who saw Avengers Infinity War knows that Doctor Strange played an integral part in the action and used the power of the Eye of Agamotto to try to determine if there was anyway that they could win. They also remember what happened to Strange in the film itself.
While many worry about the fate of Doctor Strange in the film, many more have wondered why there have been no announcements of a sequel to the Doctor’s 2016 film. In an interview with Cinemablend, Kevin Feige (the man who knows all the things in the MCU) confirmed in passing that the Doctor will return after the events of Infinity War with a sequel.
“Sometimes it’s where do those characters pop up?” Feige said. “[Doctor] Strange, you know, whenever we do another Strange one, which we will do, it will be a number of years from the first Strange, and yet he’s a very big part of Infinity War.”
Doctor Strange is one of my favorite characters and his first film is in my top 5 for the MCU. It’s gratifying to hear that the character will return and now I can start speculating about what adventure Strange will get into next.
