Deron GenerallyIt looks like Kid Flash might be making himself scarce in the upcoming seasons of both DC’s Legends of Tomorrow and The Flash on The CW.
According to Deadline, actor Keiynan Lonsdale, who originated the role of Kid Flash on The Flash before joining the cast Legends of Tomorrow, will not be returning to either show as a series regular.
Lonsdale’s Wally West is scheduled to appear in the season five premier of The Flash, but there is no news on when he will be leaving Legends of Tomorrow. He was added as a series regular on the back half of season three of Legends and was expected to join the series as a regular for season four. Lonsdale’s departure does not necessarily mean the end of the character. His stepping back could just mean that he will be available for future episodes, but will come back as a recurring or guest star.
Legends of Tomorrow has added two new regulars including Matt Ryan returning as fan favorite character John Constantine and Jes Macallan coming on board as Time Bureau agent Ava Sharpe.
