Deron GenerallyThe Flash on CW has always showcased a variety of villains on the show throughout the last three seasons. With the news that the main villain for season 4 would not be a speedster, it opens up the possibility of seeing some new Rogues take on the Flash this year.
Actress Katee Sackhoff has been cast in the fourth season of The Flash as the villain Blacksmith. Created by Ethan van Sciver and Geoff Johns, Blacksmith is a professional criminal who creates an underground black market called “The Network” that allows criminals to buy, sell and trade contraband. Not being content with being in the background, Blacksmith aka Amunet Black, also gains the ability to reshape metal and fuse it to flesh.
Sackhoff is a veteran of sci-fi television and geek culture with her role as Captain Kara “Starbuck” Thrace on Battlestar Galactica and Vic Moretti on Longmire (and the all out effort to get her cast as Captain Marvel). She will make her first appearance on the show in the fourth episode titled “Girls Night Out” which will guest star Arrow‘s Emily Bett Rickards as Felicity Smoak.
The Flash returns for its Fourth Season October 10th.
