The Rundown: The League splits up to take on multiple giant monsters around the world.
Godzilla and the other monsters have invaded the planet and have been seen everywhere from Metropolis to Central City and beyond. In order to take on the multiple threats, the Justice League not only has to split up, but also call in reserve members to help where they can. At the same time, Lex discovers too late that Toyman has stolen something powerful and betrayed the Legion.
A bat creature rages through the skies of Gotham and Batman and his allies work to find a means of bringing it down. Back in Metropolis, Superman and Hawkgirl struggle to lure Godzilla out of the city.
The Story: Buccellato goes for straight action and thrills throughout this issue and that works for the story being crafted in this series. Seeing the Bat Family working together was great and seeing Superman struggle to take on Godzilla is a treat, but definitely needs to be fleshed out to make sense. Overall, a fun and entertaining follow up that captured my interest.
The Art: Duce crafts some beautifully detailed and dramatic art that perfectly captures the action and tone of the story.
