The Rundown: After finding the Frost King’s family, the final battle against the creature begins.
Batman has tracked down where Stagg was keeping the family of the Frost King and the creature uses that opportunity to not only retrieve them, but continue his plans for the Endless Winter to come. The Justice League fights back and Hippolyta gifts Diana with something that will help them turn the tide. As the Frost King disappears again, Batman tracks it to where it all started.
Making their way back to the site of the Frost King’s release, the team discovers that the Frost King is hiding something beneath the ice. Something that Hippolyta and Batman seek out as a means of ending the conflict once and for all. As the battle rages and more allies come into help, Black Adam’s presence causes more harm than good and his clash with Superman threatens to derail the League’s chance of stopping the Endless Winter without more death.
The Story: Lanning and Marz bring this story to a satisfying conclusion. There are some interesting character moments throughout and the plot of the story is effective in showcasing how the team works together. The Black Adam moments were well done and the conflict his presence creates adds to the drama and the stakes.
The Art: The visuals in this story were well done. There are some great action beats and the imagery is well detailed.
