The Rundown: The League fights to save one of their own as another member discovers something she never knew about her powers.

In an unknown void, Naomi is confronted by the spirit Nabu who has questions about her unique energy signature. Questions that might contain the solution for stopping Xanadoth. At the same time, Xanadoth has Madame Xanadu trapped in Black Adam’s castle and Xanadu wants answers. When things get more intense between the two, Xanadu uses that moment as a way of calling in help from the Justice League.

The League arrives to rescue one of their own and their combined attacks give the lord of chaos something it never imagined. After finding the heroes of Earth more formidable than it imagined, Xanadoth finds itself facing off against Nabu in a hidden world. A world where its former host decides to seek justice and where the power within Naomi is revealed.

The Story: This was a fun and entertaining story from Bendis that does a great job of showcasing the characters, especially Naomi. There is a really good energy to the story. The characters are utilized well and the plot doesn’t get bogged down in unnecessary moments that take away from the energy of the story. I even liked the resolution of the story and what it means for two of the characters and their place in the League.

The Art: All of the artists deliver fantastic visuals each with its own style, tone and charm.
