The Rundown: A dark vision will bring the league and Justice League Dark together to face a new threat.

Zatanna has a terrifying vision of the destruction of the League and her friends. After coming out of it, she goes to the rest of Justice League Dark to tell Constantine what happened. As she tries to find the words, Doctor Fate arrives to confirm that he had the same vision. A vision that is connected to a member of the Justice League. With the League hosting visitors for charity, Black Adam decides to return home only to find that someone powerful is waiting for him.

When Zatanna and her team catch up with the League, she wants to know where Adam is and the team rallies to find him. Unfortunately, they might be too late as the powerful entity that has plans for him has already started and will leave destruction in her wake to get what she wants. As the magical heroes of the League attempts to stop this new threat, Khalid learns the truth from Nabu and as the being they fight grows in power, he discovers the world might be on its own.

The Story: The story is good and Bendis does a good job of bringing both teams together to battle a threat that seems new and unique. I like the personality of this new threat and how different she seems to be from other villains. I like the pacing of the story and how it evolves, but I would have liked to see more of the encounter from Adam’s perspective with the story being centered on him and his power.

The Art: All of the artists bring great style to the issue and I like how the art styles complement each other as the story unfolds.
