The Rundown: Naomi unleashes her power and Black Adam is given a choice.

Naomi wakes up in the infirmary of the Hall of Justice not knowing how she got there or what happened on her world. Black Canary is the first one to greet her and she learns that the battle they fought against Zumbado had some unexpected consequences. Consequences that resulted in a surge of power from her that no one could explain, but left the destroyer reeling as the rest of the League fought to leave the planet. After they return, Naomi feels guilty, but is given some good news from the rest of the team. At the same time, Superman extends an invitation to Black Adam.

Justice League Dark continues the hunt for Merlin. Constantine and the others find an inventive way to leave the enchanted library while Kirk and Khalid attempt to use science to unlock the helm of Fate. Khalid witnesses visions of the near and far future and in one Elnara returns seeking out a being captured by a cult, but her trip to Gotham will not go unnoticed by its dark protector.

The Story: Bendis does a great job of moving the team forward in an interesting direction while also highlighting the personal issues members are dealing with in their own titles. I like seeing that there is going to be some new and unexpected voices in the League as well. The Justice League Dark story has some great character moments and there is a level of dark charm that makes the story engaging.

The Art: Marquez delivers some beautiful action beats throughout the story and the characters look great. Xermanico embraces the mood and tone of the story with the art and I love the look of each page.
