The Rundown: Jonny and Hadji come face to face with an old enemy.
Looking for a way to return to 1964, Dr. Quest and company have traveled with the older Jonny to Tokyo to work on the device that could bring the group back home to their own time. After finishing the components they need, Race finds himself facing off against a highly skilled thief who steals what they need.
Jonny and Hadji discover the thief and follow her only to find themselves confronted by deadly ninjas who manage to capture them all before bringing them face to digitized face with Dr. Zin.
The Story: Casey continues to craft a thrilling adventure in this issue. The story is getting more complicated and adding elements that I continue to enjoy regarding the lore of Jonny Quest. There is great action throughout the story and I continue to enjoy not only the stakes for the characters, but also the interpersonal conflict between older Jonny and his family. There was a great callback to another character that was fun to see and I look forward to seeing what happens next.
The Art: Piriz delivers some beautiful art throughout the issue. I love the visual style and how visually thrilling the action is.
