The Rundown: Jonny Quest and his family return home to find there are some huge and dangerous changes coming their way. As Jonny and Hadjii look around the area, none of them realize they are being watched.

After entering their home, Benton and Race look for clues and Dr. Quest discovers something strange in his office. Something that will give them a clue as to what happened. When a familiar face emerges from the shadows, the Quest family will discover they are in a very different time and an old enemy is set to return.

Doctor Quest and his family return to their home on Palm Key and realize that there is something wrong. The home has seemingly been ransacked and there are strange devices all over the island.

The Story: Casey delivers a thrilling adventure in this first issue with a mystery that was engaging as both a reader and fan of these characters. There is great suspense and tension throughout the story and I actually liked the premise more than I expected to with the narrative twist added to it. There is great action throughout the story and everything moves in a direction that makes me excited to see what happens next.

The Art: Piriz delivers some beautifully detailed art that brings me back to the original animated series while adding new elements that make the issue visually appealing and compelling.
