The Rundown: Jean continues to struggle within her mind and the latest battle is against Madelyne Pryor.
Jean finds herself trapped and facing Madelyne Pryor. After discovering that her clone is not the one controlling events, she begins another scenario that will have her changing history again.
This time, Jean finds a way to prevent Maddie from getting her son setting off a chain of events that lead the clone to turning on everyone she believed hurt her including her creator and the creatures trying to use her. Her final target will be not only her own child, but the woman she was created from.
The Story: A dark, intense and engaging story from start to finish. I like seeing Jean going over the big events in her past and seeing what those events would look like if she made different choices. Each lesson seems to reinforce something she should know by now and Simonson does a fantastic job of creating some truly emotional moments for the character.
The Art: Change delivers some beautiful art in the issue. The visuals are dynamic and brilliantly detailed with fantastic imagery that draws the eye.
