After Entertainment Weekly put out a new series of photos from the upcoming Aquaman film starring Jason Mamoa, many speculated that the first trailer for the film would follow, but director James Wan took to his Twitter feed to give fans and answer as to when they would see the first trailer for the film.

The first trailer for Aquaman will debut at this year’s San Diego Comic Con (SDCC). The announcement effectively ends the speculation of when the trailer will debut and begins the speculation of what will be shown and the anticipation of what will be revealed. This year’s San Diego Comic Con International will be held July 19-22nd.
Aquaman stars Jason Mamoa as Arthur Curry/ Aquaman, Amber Heard as Mera, Willem Dafoe as Nuidis Vulko, Temuera Morrison as Tom Curry, Dolph Lundgren as King Nereus, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II as Black Manta, Ludi Lin as Murk, Patrick Wilson as King Orm/Ocean Master, Academy Award winner Nicole Kidman as Atlanna and Michael Beach as Jesse Kane.
Aquaman will debut in theaters December 21, 2018.
