Deron GenerallySony is fast tracking a new Men in Black film for release and they are bringing in the writers of Iron Man to put it together.
Matt Holloway and Art Marcum have been brought in to pen a new Men in Black film featuring new characters. Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones will not reprise their roles in the proposed spinoff film which will be produced for Sony by Walter F. Parkes and Laurie MacDonald. Steven Spielberg will Executive Produce the film.
Matt Holloway’s next project are the next two upcoming Transformers sequels along with Art Marcum. The duo is also attached to the long rumored Highlander reboot. Sony’s fast tracking of the project has prompted the studio to give the film a release date.
The currently untitled Men in Black spinoff film is scheduled for release May 17, 2019.
