The Rundown: Tony and his team fight for their lives in order to stop the threat of Korvac taking over the universe.
With Korvac’s ship on their tails, Tony’s team fights to survive along with a possible shot at stopping the pursuit. At the same time, Gargoyle tries to revive Hellcat, but Patsy finds herself in the presence of an old friend who has a gift for her. Moondragon decides to enhance Patsy’s mental powers, but she is hesitant to face Korvac and has doubts about her feelings about his plan. In order to give her some clarity, Moondragon decides to take Patsy back to her past.
Patsy’s trip to her past becomes a tool for her to overcome her fears with the appearances by Daimon Hellstrom and her mother forcing her to confront those fears. In her trauma she learns a lesson. One that will help her confront Korvac and hopefully give them a chance to escape.
The Story: The plot takes an interesting turn inward which is good. Concentrating the plot on Patsy and her trauma gives the reader more insight into her character and her importance to the bigger plot. There is some great tension throughout the story as well with the space battle, but the internal conflict is definitely more compelling.
The Art: Unzueta delivers some impressive art throughout the issue. The characters look amazing and the details in the art are fantastic.
