In the international trailer for Netflix’s Marvel Universe series of shows, the commercial gets a boost from narration by Stan Lee himself.
In the trailer, Stan is riding in a car through the streets of New York talking about the traits that make a hero. He talks about doing what’s right and living without fear intercut with scenes from the second season of Daredevil, the first season of Luke Cage, Iron Fist and Jessica Jones. There isn’t a lot of new footage to be found for Defenders other than the hallways fight seen in the Defenders trailer, but there are a few seconds of the Punisher to be seen that are exciting. The best part of the trailer is the narration by Stan Lee that puts everything in context and reminds you why you love these characters in the first place.
