Deron GenerallyDirector Paul Feig’s 2016 Ghostbusters film is unlikely to get a sequel anytime soon thanks to poor box office performance, but the new generation of Ghostbusters will live on in a new series from IDW.
Fans of the film will get to see new adventures of the crew with a new series from comic book publisher IDW. The new series Ghostbusters: Answer the Call will continue the adventures of Erin Gilbert, Abby Yates, Jillian Holtzmann and Patty Tolan directly after the events of the movie.
The new five issue series will have the Ghostbusters taking on a brand new threat to the city in the form of a demon who can conjure up a persons worst fears.
Ghostbusters: Answer The Call will be written by Kelly Thompson who is also writing Star Wars: Captain Phasma for Marvel Comics with art by Corin Howell who draws Ghostbusters International for IDW.
The first issue of Ghostbusters: Answer the Call came out today on Digital and at Comic Book stores everywhere.
