Deron GenerallyI admit that I have not been a fan of the Transformers franchise since the second Michael Bay movie, but this trailer looks interesting.
In what looks like a prequel to the first Transformers film, Autobot Bumblebee is discovered and taken home by 18 year old Charlie (Hailee Steinfeld) who soon realizes that she’s taken home more than just a battered yellow Volkswagen.
The trailer showcases Bumblebee’s classic look along with what looks like a classic Starscream as well. Having the film be a prequel and take place in 1987 makes for an interesting premise. One that might actually get me back into a theater to watch a Transformers film. Especially since this one seems to be rooted in the relationship between Bee and Charlie.
