Deron GenerallyAt the Paris Game Week, Sony unveiled a new trailer for their highly anticipated PS4 exclusive Marvel’s Spider-Man.
The game seems to be featuring a standalone story that features an older Peter Parker who is successfully defending the city as Spider-Man to the point where he has helped take down Wilson Fisk aka The Kingpin. Peter is also settling into his personal life with Mary Jane and is contemplating a life without his alter-ego. There is a surprise cameo from Miles Morales in the trailer as well although there is no information about how he will figure in the game. When a new threat emerges in the city, it looks like Spider-Man may be needed again. Check out the trailer below and let me know what you think.
Sony Interactive Entertainment, Insomniac Games, and Marvel have teamed up to create a brand-new and authentic Spider-Man adventure. This isn’t the Spider-Man you’ve met or ever seen before. This is an experienced Peter Parker who’s experienced at fighting big crime in New York City, who has sheer mastery of his powerful spider-sense, dynamic skills, acrobatic abilities, and new suit. At the same time, he’s struggling to balance his chaotic personal life and career while the fate of millions of New Yorkers rest upon his shoulders.
Still no release date yet, but it is expected in 2018.
