AHS: Apocalypse is coming.
Combining the storylines of Murder House and Coven, Apocalypse looks to bring something unique and different to the universe created by Ryan Murphy.
In this first trailer for the new series, the world has ended and factions try to survive in this new post-apocalyptic world where the rules have changed and society is in shambles.
Apocalypse includes previous AHS installments Murder House and Coven colliding as the world comes to an end. We see flashes of familiar faces such as Sarah Paulson, Frances Conroy and Taissa Farmiga getting their witchy action on while we see the creepy rubber man and Dylan McDermott from the first season. We also see flashes of Jessica Lange as Constance, Cody Fern as Michael Langdon and glimpses of Evan Peters and Emma Roberts’ return as the sharp-tongued Madison Montgomery.
As seen in the trailer, a few actors are playing double duty — Farmiga, for example, can be seen as “Murder House’s” Violet Harmon as well as the “Coven” witch Zoe Benson. Meanwhile, both Peters and Paulson are playing three characters each: their “Murder House” and “Coven” characters, as well as new roles.
American Horror Story: Apocalypse premieres September 12th on FX.
