Venom stars Ton Hardy as Eddie Brock. In the comics, Brock is a photojournalist who becomes bonded to an alien symbiote and given the powers of Spider-Man. In the film, after he two bond, Venom goes on a mission to protect the innocent.

Yesterday, Sony released the first poster for the film and today we get our first look at footage from the film. Check it out and let me know what you think.
Venom stars Tom Hardy (The Revenant), Michelle Williams (The Greatest Showman), Riz Ahmed (Rogue One: A Star Wars Story), Woody Harrelson (Solo: A Star Wars Story), Jenny Slate (Gifted) and Scott Haze (Thank You for Your Service). Ruben Fleischer directs the film, which will be the first of multiple planned Spider-Man sequel films including Silver and Black based on the characters Silver Sable and Black Cat.
Venom opens in theaters October 5, 2018.
