Deron GenerallyThe new Hellboy reboot from Lionsgate is slated to have a huge presence at this year’s New York Comic Con and now there’s news that the new film will be moving its release date.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Hellboy was set for release January 11, 2019. Summit Entertainment has announced that the film will now open April 12, 2019. It will open one week after the Warner Brothers/DC Films movie Shazam opens April 5, 2019.
Hellboy stars Stranger Things actor David Harbour in the title role in a script by Hellboy creator Mike Mignola along with Andrew Cosby and Christopher Golden. The film also stars Milla Jovovich, Ian McShane and Daniel Dae Kim. It’s directed by Neil Marshall.
