The Rundown: Hellboy and Anastacia find themselves in a dangerous world as they continue their pursuit of her artifacts.
Hellboy and Anastacia have discovered where the goblins are hiding and after being spotted, the goblins decide to take out the buyer in order to escape with Anastacia’s artifacts. The pair finally manage to capture one of the goblins and get him to disclose where they are delivering the artifacts and the pair hit the road.
After miles of travel and flirting, Hellboy and Anastacia make their way to the location only to find that it is a deadly trap. A trap they barely escape from before finding themselves in the middle of an auction of potentially dangerous supernatural artifacts.
The Story: Golden crafts an entertaining and fast paced story in this issue. I love the rising tension and action within the story as well as the chemistry between the characters. The story has a great, light tone that allows for the characters to come forward and the story to have a great, adventurous spirit that is infinitely enjoyable and engaging.
The Art: Smith delivers some beautifully detailed art throughout the issue. The visuals are fun and compelling and I enjoyed every page and panel.
