Deron GenerallyEven though it’s been 14 years since the original Incredibles film hit theaters, no time has passed in the world inhabited by the superhuman Parr family and their friends.
In the upcoming sequel Incredibles 2, the film not only takes place immediately after the events of the original movie, but the focus of this new movie is going to be on family matriarch Helen Parr (Holly Hunter).
The first film dealt with Bob Parr aka Mr. Incredible (Craig T. Nelson) navigating his own personal mid-life crisis with his family being pulled into the action. In the new film, Helen is the focus. With Helen being brought into the spotlight, Bob is at home taking care of the kids and being the first one to discover Jack Jack has powers. When a new villain emerges, the entire family and Frozone (Samuel L. Jackson) will have to jump into action and work together to save the day.
Incredibles 2 will leap into studios June 15, 2018.
