Deron GenerallyBlack Panther star Michael B Jordan stars in the remake of the classic sci-fi thriller Fahrenheit 451 based on the groundbreaking novel by Ray Bradbury.
In a dystopian future where the search for knowledge is banned, firemen serve the government by burning all books and destroying all knowledge. Guy Montag is one of the best firemen on the force and a mysterious woman makes him question his profession, his actions and convictions.
Michael B Jordan plays Montag and executive produces the film written and directed by Ramin Bahrani (99 Homes). Michael Shannon stars as Montag’s superior officer Captain Beatty and Shannon seems to be challenging a bit of his menacing character from The Shape of Water in the trailer. Sofia Boutella (Star trek: Beyond) plays Clarisse, who helps Montag question the world around him and his place in it. The film also stars Laura Harrier, Martin Donovan, Lilly Singh and Andy McQueen.
Fahrenheit 451 premieres on HBO May 19th.
