The Rundown: Clint Barton ‘s life gets more complicated when his past and present continue to collide.
At a fancy fundraiser, Clint Barton and his girlfriend Linda are enjoying the free food and drink as May Parker introduces the one person who gave the most to the charity; Clint Barton. In front of a stunned crowd, including Tony Stark, Clint gives a speech to wow the crowd. At the same time, Ronin is robbing another front for the Hood and his robbery gets the attention of Spider-Man.
The next day Clint finds himself in a firefight while Luke Cage questions him about the Ronin problem. After proving it couldn’t be him, he continues to flash money around to try to do some good with it. When another safe house gets hit, Ronin finds himself face to face with someone who knows his true identity.
The Story: Rosenberg continues to tell a fun, entertaining story with this issue. The dialogue is fun and funny. The plot moves well and the story is very engaging. The mysteries unfolding in this issue are intriguing and the final reveal at the end of this issue opens up so many new story avenues and I cannot wait to see how Rosenberg explains what happened and how.
The Art: Otto Schmidt delivers some fantastic art throughout this issue. There is so much energy in every panel and the art moves with the action and adventure. The Ronin/Spidey fight is a great sequence and the Hawkeye/Luke Cage segment is entertaining and funny.
