Paramount and Hasbro have found a writer for their upcoming live action adaptation of the 80’s animated series.
According to an exclusive in The Hollywood Reporter, Hasbro’s production arm Allspark Pictures has hired writer Chris Bremner to pen the script for the upcoming action film produced and directed by F. Gary Gray (The Fate of the Furious, Men in Black International).
M.A.S.K. stands for Mobile Armored Strike Kommand and consisted of an elite strike team, lead by Matt Trakker, tasked with stopping the plans of the criminal organization V.E.N.O.M. Trakker and the M.A.S.K. team use a fleet of specialized vehicles armored vehicles and Masks that grant the wearer enhanced abilities.
Chris Bremner wrote the script for the surprise hit Bad Boys for Life and was recently hired to pen the third National Treasure film.
