The Rundown: It’s Poison Ivy versus Poison Ivy with Harley and their relationship caught in the middle.
The person hunting Harley and Ivy across the country has been revealed and it is Ivy herself. Revealing the truth about the Ivy that Harley has been traveling with, the real Poison Ivy decides that this betrayal means she can’t trust in any human, including Harley.
With Harley trying to plead with her friend, the other Ivy must make a decision that will sever her bond with Harley and make everyone wonder in the aftermath which Ivy will emerge and how will she feel about Harley Quinn.
The Story: A fun and well crafted conclusion from Jody Houser. The story is both emotional and entertaining and the compelling dynamic between the characters is what drove this story so it was gratifying to see Houser bring this dynamic to a conclusion that is both thrilling and unpredictable. As fun and interesting as this story has been, I would love to see this creative team return for a second chapter of this story.
The Art: Melo delivers some beautiful visuals in this issue. The characters look great and the action is thrilling and fun to see. Not only is the action stunning, but Melo captures some beautiful emotional moments.
