The Rundown: A group of friends find sex and excitement along with something darker.
A group of friends with a love of music find themselves looking for experiences that they can remember always. As Lisa, Amina and Vera make their way to a local club, they have one thing on their minds, getting together with the band. When Amina finds herself connecting with the lead singer of the band, things take an interesting turn.
As her friends look for her, Amina finds herself at the home of a powerful person connected with a powerful record label. A night of lust leads to a dangerous encounter that will change their lives forever.
The Story: Mullane delivers an entertaining and interesting first issue with an engaging premise. I love the ethereal nature of this story and how interesting the characters are. The story has a wonderful setting and takes place at an interesting time in both society and music. I love the supernatural elements of the story and look forward to seeing how the story unfolds.
The Art: Lotay deliver some breathtaking art throughout the issue. The visuals are amazing and I will always read anything illustrated by Lotay.
