The Rundown: Connor goes on a mission of revenge when his father is murdered in front of him.
Connor Hawke stands over the dead body of Oliver Queen and knows that there is no one he can reach out to regarding his father’s murder. With no one to turn to, Connor decides to hunt Onomatopoeia in order to determine who hired him for the hit.
While Connor hunts for the man who killed Green Arrow, the killer returns to his employer and a betrayal within team Arrow is revealed along with his connection to Amanda Waller.
The Story: Williamson crafts a dramatic and entertaining adventure in this issue. I like the mystery of the story and how it focuses on Connor as the main protagonist. The story has some interesting and well done reveals and twists throughout and ends on a great cliffhanger with the reveal of who is working for Amanda Waller.
The Art: Hester has some dynamic art in the issue but the tone of the story needed something more visually interesting. Many of the panels felt flat.
