The Rundown: Phoebe discovers who’s after her family while the rest of the team fights ghosts throughout the city.
Phoebe Spengler descends into the sewers and discovers that the malevolent spirit that is haunting the firehouse and her family has a personal grudge against the Ghostbusters. A grudge connected to a case twenty years before involving Vigo the Carpathian.
After barely escaping the spirit coming after her, Phoebe calls for help as the rest of the Ghostbusters deal with an entity seducing Trevor. After comparing notes, the team gathers to deal with the bigger threat and must use a new tactic to bring it down.
The Story: Booher crafts a fun and entertaining story in this issue. The issue has great pacing that puts all the characters in interesting circumstances while also bringing them together as a team and family. The villain in the story is interesting as well and I really enjoyed the confrontation between her and Phoebe. The family dynamics continue to impress me and I look forward to seeing what happens next.
The Art: The art has a fun quality and style that works really well for the tone of the story and its characters.
