The Rundown: The Spengler family tries to make their way in a new city with a threat growing beneath their feet.
A group of bird watchers find themselves attacked by a spectral bird larger than anything they’ve ever seen. At the same time, Phoebe tries to survive another day as the school outcast and Trevor tries to find a way to spend time with Lucky. After finding a trail of slime in the firehouse, Phoebe seeks help from Ray who has a theory.
When Callie and Gary get a job, they head to the park and find their mission a failure when malfunctioning equipment allows the ghost to escape. Phoebe decides to take a trip to the sewers and discovers something growing beneath the city with the Ghostbusters in its sights.
The Story: The series continues to be fun and entertaining with Booher doing a great job of fleshing out the characters and their interpersonal conflicts in the time between movies. Each character has something interesting that they are going through from trying to relate to the kids to trying to be the person they think they should be. The external conflict in the series is interesting as well and I want to see how this group tackles it.
The Art: Dellaquanti delivers some cute and entertaining art in the issue that does a wonderful job of capturing the lighter moments between the characters.
