As much as I and many other Game of Thrones fans would like to lock author George RR Martin in a room and make him finish The Winds of Winter but you cannot knock the man’s hustle.

Martin is teaming up with Warner Brothers Animation to adapt his 1980 children’s book The Ice Dragon as an animated feature film.

Published before A Song of Ice and Fire (Game of Thrones), The Ice Dragon tells the story of Adara. After the death of her mother, Adara befriends an Ice Dragon who helps her defend her home against an invading army of dragons from the North.

Martin will serve as producer on the project with Vince Geradis serving as Executive Producer. No further details were given at the time of this story.
